The head says that a PSG win is likely here given the quality in their squad, but then the heart says that Nice’s outstanding start to the campaign, with a young and vibrant team, is a long-term thing, not just a hot start. We’re not anticipating many goals here, but believe PSG should just see off their guests here.

The bookmakers have, at first glance, got this one wrong, with PSG a far too short 4/11. To make this line profitable, we need to be betting on PSG & Under 3.5 Goals at 11/8.

For those who enjoy betting on the outright market, a flutter on Nice with a +1.25 Asian Handicap is certainly worth a go at Even money. 

As far as the correct score lines go, adding both 1-0 and 2-0 to PSG to your betting slip at 8/1 and 6/1 respectively makes sense.

Nice may have to do without Mario Balotelli once again here, while Gautier Lloris and Paul Baysse remain doubtful.   

Key Man

Valentin Eysseric has been just one of a number of Nice players to catch the eye this season, and he will need to deliver a big performance here against the defending league champions.

Nice are top of the league for a reason: their form is very good. Just one defeat in sixteen all season, and three wins in their last four, explains all.

PSG are in excellent form overall, and barring the abominations of the last couple of days will surely go into this match in confident mood; they have conceded just one goal on home soil this term. Nice\'s form since the start of November shows signs of deterioration; okay, so they have a decent return of W3 D1 L1, but they have only scored six goals in those five and three of those came against Toulouse. So, we’re looking at a low scoring contest here, and our prediction is that PSG will just sneak the victory.

As mentioned elsewhere in this preview, Nice have only lost one of sixteen Ligue 1 matches this term. That means that PSG need to do something very special to beat them here.
